ワームとは

自己増殖を行い、インターネットやメールを介して次々に別のコンピュータに感染する。
2003年ごろ流行した、“NIMDA”や“Blaster”といった有名なワームはコンピュータを動作不能にしたり、挙動をおかしくするといった目に見えた被害を及ぼすものが多かった。
しかし、近年のワームはトロイの木馬などの他のウィルスと組み合わせて、潜伏させ情報搾取を水面下で行うタイプが主流。
